Prepare sugar syrup and set aside to cool
Grease 32x22 cm pan with oil or melted butter
3 cups samolina (500 g)
1 cup Sugar
1 cup shredded coconut
Mix them
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 cups orange juice
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 ts baking soda
Mix well
pour mixture in the pan
Smooth the surface
give it a shake to release any air bubbles
bake in preheated oven on the middle rack, 380f/180c for 20-25 minutes
broil the upside till golden brown
pour 1/2 - 3/4 cup of sugar syrup while it is still hot
let it set for at least 15 min to 30 min till become cold
decorate with coconut, nuts etc
